Why it runs in your browser

Which copy of a duplicate is kept?
The first one. The original order is preserved unless you tick Sort A-Z.
What does 'Ignore case' do?
It treats 'Apple' and 'apple' as the same line and keeps whichever appeared first. Leave it off to treat them as different.
Are blank lines removed?
Yes, empty lines are dropped so the result is a clean list.
